fall update

Songs for the LP are written, will be going into the studio soon.  All new, all great.

I got a box of represses from Youth Attack.  If you missed it, let me know, maybe we can work something out.  MAYBE.  An essay describing the finer points of the films Tango and Cash or Above the Law will help your case.

Hopefully we will play a show soon, nothing planned at the moment though.

Nothing planned after that.  Next show will probably be for the release of the Youth Attack LP sometime before the end of 2011.  We will be spending the summer cooped up in a world class recording studio writing and recording our magnum opus while you are falling in love with some other band. But we will be thinking about you. Dreaming about you. Wishing WE were the band playing the blowout summer jam you travelled across the country for to see 70 OTHER bands.  But don't be alarmed!  We will be penning more of the tender ballads and bouncy teen pop anthems we have become known for.

As high school acquaintences would scribble in my yearbook; "HAVE A KICK ASS SUMMER!"

To help recoup monies lost on the recent ROPES 7" and hopefully generate a little dough for future efforts, we are taking some personal copies of past and present offerings and putting them up for auction on eBay.  Being in a band is an expensive hobby.  I'm putting up one of each of the Repos lps, a Ropes 7" on colored vinyl and my test pressing of the Ropes 7".  Thanks in advance for investing your dollars into helping to keep us in the black.

Thanks to all who played, came out, provided the venue, etc last night.  We all had a GREAT time.

HOAX stole the show in my opinion, but all of the bands were great.

Records will be going to distros and stores this week.  I will provide a list of  who has them later on this week.  PLEASE do not contact us to see if there are any left.  There are not.  Get with distributors or wait for the Youth Attack repress.  But don't snooze, the Youth Attack repress will be small and the packaging will be lavish.

We will be playing in Ohio mid-May and are working on something special for the shows.  It will only be available at the Ohio shows, unless there are leftovers, which we will of course offer to our fans at eBay prices.

We will be playing in Chicago again May 30th and then off into the studio to work on the Youth Attack LP and some other things.  Probably won't play again until late July/early August.

FINALLY!!! Preorders are starting to ship TODAY.  Thanks to everyone who ordered, it really helped.  Our gear is out of hock and we're ready to start working on the new LP for Youth Attack!

There is a lot of cutting/folding/gluing, etc involved and we are assembling and shipping them as quickly as possible.  I will be making trips to the post office every day this week and probably next.  Thanks for being patient, we think it will be worth it.
